Summary of Duties:
Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. Interact professionally with other team members, guests, and vendors. Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other team members and organizations. Maintain strict privileged, proprietary, guest, and employer confidentiality during and beyond the term of my employment. Adhere to all work rules, policies & procedures, and safety standards.
Position Purpose: Provide support to the Back House.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Scrape and wash dishware, cutlery, glasses, and all cooking pots, and utensils.
- Report any inventory shortages to the Executive Chef.
- Ensure that all glassware, dishes, cutlery, and cookware is clean.
- Operate commercial dishwasher.
- Follow all food safety ordinances and regulations.
- Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor equipment and report any maintenance concerns as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Comply with Title 31 training requirements.
- Obtain and maintain food handlers permit.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years.
- Requires Food Handler’s Permit.
Work Requirements:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.
- Requires problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Position involves prolonged walking, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds daily.
- Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and/or temperature.
